on May 21, 2006.
The First Annual "YEF Uncorked!" Fine Wine and Food Festival
Held on May 15, 2005
at The Cliff House, Ogunquit, Maine
Wineries and local distributors were on hand to introduce their wine selections paired with food samplings from local restaurants and food producers. This first major fundraiser for YEF was a wonderful opportunity to support the York Schools and at the same time sample some of the best that the southern Seacoast has to offer in food and wine.
Along with the tasting, two local musical groups performed: Artful Noise, a string quartet, followed by the musical trio, September. A silent auction was held concurrently offering valuable food and entertainment packages donated by area businesses.
The "YEF Red Sox Raffle" drawing also took place.
